Gin was invented in Italy in the year 1050 AD by monks on the Amalfi coastline - they distilled juniper in with spirits in the kitchens of their monasteries. Malfy Gin Originale is a homage to this invention. The Originale expression presents a juniper-forward flavour profile with the use of wild Italian juniper in combination with five further botanicals.
The Malfy Gin distillers bring this bottle of gin down to bottling strength using fresh water from the Monviso mountain that is extracted at the Italian village of Crissolo.
